Hi everyone! This
afternoon, i am going to talk about my favorite book.
When was a child
I didn’t like to read a lot, but over time my friend´s dragged me into the
world of reading, mainly romantic’s plots , fiction science and mystery histories.
One day, my
friend tell me on the new book she had read (she read one per week), she told
me to read it because it was very good and I did so, that was when that book
became one of my favorites.
"Remember me" ("no me olvides" title for Latin America) , it is the title of the book by the American Cheryl Lanham who writes
romance, mystery novels and directed to young adults. In the first pages of the
book, I thought it would be those plots that can be easily inferred, that girl
in trouble who falls in love with the wrong boy and all those corny things, but
with the passage of the pages the book becomes unpredictable and more
interesting. The protagonist of the story is Jean, a young woman who, after
betting whit her friends, ends up being sentenced to 300 hours of community
service, which, to her surprise, she must fulfill in a home for the terminally
ill. In that place he meets Gabriel, a sarcastic adolescent lover of
literature, with heart problems where his days are already numbered and where
he already has everything planned for when that day arrives.
Throughout the
plot Jean and Gabriel become good friends, and although Jean knows a boy who
lives near the home he falls in love with, similarly has mixed feelings with
Gabriel. There are moments of joy and fun in the book, but the last forty pages
are the most exciting. It shows someone who is about to die, how beautiful life
can be and enjoy it every day. The book makes you fall in love and teaches you
great things, such as friendship, affection, admiration, empathy among others,
is full of life teachings.
Here I leave the
synopsis of the book,
Dear Diary: Why is life so difficult?
When they caught me stealing, I thought the world was falling apart. It
was a stupid prank, but that was not the worst: the judge imposed a penalty of
three hundred hours of community service. All an eternity!
Of course I would never have believed that I would love to work in a
health center, and that someone like Gabriel would cross my path.
Since I've known him, I feel like another person. We have so many things
in common, and we are running out of time ... Now I would like those three
hundred hours to be eternal!
PS: How do you say goodbye to someone you love?
read it is wonderful!

OMG! I'll read it on vacation. Thanks for the recommendation <3
